Welcome to Back Pain Center. When you choose us for your care, we want you to understand that building trust with our patients is one of our biggest goals. We know that you’re coming to us for guidance and healing, and we’ll always do everything in our power to bring you exactly that in an honest, research-based way.
Your First Visit
When you arrive to your first appointment, you’ll fill out some brief paperwork if you haven’t already done so online. We ask that you wear loose-fitting athletic clothing and bring your ID and insurance information if you’re using it-that’s it!
We’ll begin your visit by introducing you to your doctor, getting to know you and what brought you in. First and foremost, our goal is to bring you an accurate diagnosis, so we’ll take a complete health history to give us the best picture. If we think a diagnostic ultrasound is required for even better input, we’ll make arrangements for our Board-Certified radiologist to perform a quick scan of your problem area.
After we’ve had time to analyze our findings, we’ll speak with you about them and whether or not we believe we can help you. If we can’t, we will happily refer you out to a specialist who we believe can. As we said, we want the best for your health-even if that means your care isn’t with us.

Dr. Nicholson was extremely thorough and sincere. He took time to go through, in detail, what my issues were. He explained everything he was going to do so there were no surprises. He also provided home exercises/stretches to continue to improve areas I am currently dealing with. My husband had an appointment with me and Dr. Nicholson was able to adjust his upper back. Only one time in his life has it been adjusted. All other chiropractors said he wasn’t adjustable and gave up on him. This doctor was able to do it on the first appointment. We are so glad a friend of ours recommended him. We have found a chiropractor we can trust.

Dr Littlefield was professional, educational and truly interested in my interest to help me with wellness and instructed me in several body core excercises. Beginning Care
We don't see the point in sending you home only to bring you back the following day for an adjustment or other modality-so if we can help you day one, we will. Your care plan will be completely custom to your needs, and may consist of chiropractic adjustments, dry needling, physical therapy, cupping, and exercise or stretch recommendations. We'll give you the opportunity to ask any questions that you might have-we want you to be an active part of your recovery.
The frequency of your care will depend on the severity of your problem, but we promise our patients that care is designed to get you feeling better as quickly as possible. We'll never force extra care on you that your body doesn't need.
When I called the Back Pain Center I could tell from the friendly, warm and caring voice that answered the phone that I would be well served to give the services at the center a try. I was right Dr. Johnnie and the therapists have all demonstrated a very professional and caring manner. Being treated at the center has made a positive influence on my health and well being.
